 Born and raised in Wichita, KS, Scott Hess built a career around practical problem solving, financial accuracy, and helping businesses regain control of their numbers.  His career began in the oilfields of Western Kansas with his family's company, Hess Oil, where he developed a strong work ethic and firsthand experience with the operational realities of a small business.

While attending Oklahoma State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in finance, he became deeply interested in business operations and financial systems.  After graduation, he entered the accounting field through bookkeeping work for a small construction and residential real estate company, gaining valuable experience in hands on, day-to-day financial management.

He later worked as an accountant for commercial real estate developers, where he expanded his expertise in complex financial structures, reporting, and compliance.  This background ultimately led him to a Tax Resolution Firm, where he specialized in one of the most challenging areas of accounting: rebuilding financial records for businesses with limited, incomplete or disorganized information.  His ability to reconstruct accurate books from minimal data became a defining strength of his work.

In 2017, he founded S&H Business Services, bringing together years of real-world accounting experience to help business owners get clarity, accuracy, and confidence in their financials.  He is currently expanding his work through Turtlesmith, continuing his focus on reliable accounting solutions built for businesses that need more than surface-level bookkeeping.

Known for his attention to detail and persistence, Scott Hess has earned a reputation as an exceptionally capable accountant, particularly in high-pressure situations where clean financial data is difficult to obtain.  Outside of work his interests are simple: golf when time allows.

Office Manager 

Originally from Washington state, Brandi moved to Oklahoma with her fiancé in April 2022. Together they have enjoyed building a simple, meaningful life here. Brandi has had lifelong experience as an Office Manager. She values organization, communication, and reliability. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their three dogs, as well as expressing her creativity through crafts, cooking, and baking.
